PUBLIC NOTICE: Workshop and Special Council Meeting (April 4, 2022)

NOTICE OF WORKSHOP AND SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING

The Bristol City Council will hold a Workshop beginning at 5:00 p.m. ET on Monday, April 4, 2022 at Bristol City Hall, 12444 NW Virginia G Weaver St., Bristol, Florida. A Special Meeting will immediately follow the workshop.

The purpose of the workshop is 1) to publicly open Statements of Qualifications for construction engineering and inspection services for the Bristol City Streets SCOP project 2) to discuss recommended building permit fee increases 3) discuss the interview/hiring process for potential new hires in the Public Works Department and Operator’s Department 4) discuss immediate staffing needs in the Operator’s Department and 5) other items of discussion as may be deemed appropriate.

The purpose of the Special Meeting is for the Council to consider a recommendation for hire for the Public Works Maintenance Tech I position. Official action to hire may occur at this meeting

The Special Meeting is open to the public via Zoom or may be viewed via live stream on the City’s YouTube channel. Instructions for participating remotely can be found on the City of Bristol’s Agenda Page.
