Project: Bristol Sewer Improvements (Cost to the City of Bristol $0.00)
- The proposed improvements will convert the Freeman Road area from a pump-dependent low-pressure sewer system to a more reliable gravity-based system. This transition will significantly reduce the risk of service interruptions during storm-related power outages and improve the system’s overall resilience to extreme weather events. By implementing these upgrades, the city aims to safeguard public health, ensure uninterrupted wastewater service for residents, and lower ongoing maintenance requirements.
